Student Collegiate Chapters

Since students represent the emerging leadership for New York's healthcare workforce, the New York State Association for Rural Health has established Student Collegiate Chapters at higher education institutions across New York. Through this affiliation with NYSARH, students participate in training programs related to public health, community health, and clinical practice with a focus on rural New York. Through such opportunities, students have the power to make connections with rural New York's professionals and organizations, which is an essential step towards advancing from purely academic to professional.

If you are interested in starting a Student Chapter at your school, contact Kris Merchant at kmerchant@cnyahec.org.

Student Chapter Membership

Becoming a member of the NYSARH Student Chapter is easy and inexpensive. A one-year membership requires that you complete a one-page Membership Application Form, and submit the completed form, along with a $10 membership fee, to any NYSARH Board member, or at the contact listed below. Payments may also be made using PayPal at the NYSARH website.
