Workforce Staffing Impact Reporting
NYS Requirement:
In order to receive DSRIP funding, PPS are required to submit a Staffing Impact Report to NYS twice a year. The format and contents of the report are dictated by the state. Millennium aggregates data from its partners to fill out this report. The report includes the following information:
- Number of new staff hired (new positions, not turnover)
- Number of staff redeployed (new job title)
- Number of staff retrained (new duties, same job title)
Current Reporting Period:
DY5 Q3-Q4: October 1, 2019, through March 31, 2020
Deadline extended: due April 30, 2020
To get started, you will need to collect the following information for your organization:
For each new employee hired as a result of DSRIP:
- Job title
- Full-time or part-time
- DSRIP project for which they were hired
For each employee redeployed as a result of DSRIP:
- Previous job title
- New job title
- Full or partial placement (is the compensation for their new position at least 95% of their old position?)
- DSRIP project for which they were redeployed
For each employee retrained as a result of DSRIP:
- Job title
- Full or partial placement (if employee is expected to be redeployed)
- DSRIP project for which they were retrained
What not to report:
- Routine turnover
- Replacements/backfill for existing positions
- Routine training provided to all staff (e.g., compliance, HIPAA)
- Continuing education required for people to remain in their current role or maintain current licensure/certification
- Displacements, lay-offs
- Positions eliminated/not filled
- Salary data
