HWapps for DSRIP

Health WorkForce apps, or HWapps, provides web-based workforce tools for Performing Provider Systems (PPSs). HWapps is powered by Health WorkForce New York (HWNY), a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing health workforce needs throughout New York State. Here are some of the DSRIP tools HWapps offers.

Branded PPS Sections

Create a branded section, or mini-website, for your PPS. This will allow employees to connect to the Career Center, Training Center, and Community.

Data Center

In the Data Center, partner organizations can report workforce and training data using an online form. PPS staff can then collect project-specific workforce data across partner organizations, view workforce statistics, and aggregate training data.

Workforce Community

HWapps allows PPSs and others involved with DSRIP the opportunity to strengthen communication with collaboration tools tailored to their specific needs.

The Community allows for a digital two-way conversation with project leads, partner organizations, and employees, providing a manageable way to share information and respond to questions or feedback. It's accessible anytime from any web-enabled device, smartphone, or tablet, without having to install any new hardware or software.

Create or join Groups in the Community to:

Share announcements
Start new topics or participate in group forum discussions
Send public or private messages to other members
Upload resources like documents or images

Career Center

In the Career Center, partner organizations can post job openings, search resumes, and connect with candidates. Impacted workers can search and apply for job openings, upload resumes, and learn about emerging job titles. PPS staff can use the resume upload feature to match candidates to job openings.
