Skills mapping is the mechanism that links in-demand job opportunities with a highly skilled workforce. Skills mapping offers the perspective and foundational requirements needed to develop an integrated six-year educational program to address academic, technical and workplace skills by mapping backwards from real 21st century careers. The process begins with industry partners but ultimately involves the collaborative efforts of both high school and college leadership and faculty.
A friendly reminder that our first Skills Mapping meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at North Franklin Educational Center, conference room in Malone, NY from 2:30- 3:30 p.m.
Thank you for your professional time in the start-up efforts of the Northern Borders Pathways in Technology Early College High School.
