Training and Education Fund

The Training and Employment Fund (TEF) is a joint effort of 1199SEIU and contributing employers.  Our mission is to develop high quality training, placement and labor-management initiatives.  Through our efforts we aim to support the potential of health care workers to grow educationally and contribute to building an efficient and caring health industry which strengthens the community as a whole.

The Population Health Department and The DSRIP Team

TEF has formulated a unique approach to the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program.  Drawing on our years of experience in workforce development, we partner with PPSs to devise a comprehensive plan that directly aligns with the Performing Provider System’s (PPS) vision, mission and DSRIP goals. We provide the PPS with a team that includes a workforce development consultant, a field coordinator and a program assistant each of whom works closely with the PPS and leverages TEF’s many resources to help them achieve their goals.
